ACCOMMODATION
We have arranged a deal with
MİM Hotel (4
star). The hotel has no panoramic views, but it is located mid way
between the university and the city centre. Room rates 65Euros per night
for a single room, 80 Euros per night for twin room. These prices
include breakfast and tax. Bookings at the conference rate can be made
through Active Travel using the
booking form
which should be faxed directly to Active Travel. Enquiries can be

at Active: nese@active.com.tr. Please not, that after January 31st,
2007, the MIM Hotel cannot guarantee spaces will still be available to
conference delegates.
Please note that Istanbul hotels are usually booked
up well in advance, and so it is important not to delay making your
hotel reservation.
ALTERNATIVE ACCOMODATION
For those who wish to make their own arrangements, there are a number of
options for places to stay in Istanbul. Please note, however, that
staying on the Asian side of Istanbul is not recommended since
travel times can be quite long, and direct public transport is not
always available. 3 and 4 star hotels range from about 50 - 100 Euros
per night upwards depending on location.
